Boho glam wedding at the exclusive Kingston Estate in Devon

Flo and James had it all on their wedding day at the beautiful, exclusive Kingston Estate in Devon. Nestled in the rolling hills of south Devon, it has character, elegance and sophistication. History and contemporary elements go hand in had with an incredible team making sure everything goes without a hitch.

As well as being an obviously impressive venue, Kingston Estate weddings have a flow all of their own. The use of spaces are clearly defined but not closed off and it feels very personal for a property of that size; truly a home from home, but elegant and stately. The jewel in the crown has to be the undercroft which is the perfect night spot for revellers after the formalities are all done with, although nothing felt formal about their day. Full of fun and smiles, laughs and mischief, it was a pleasure to be immersed in that energy.

Flo’s dress from Kiva & Zen was stunning. Figure hugging with lots of textured detail, a signature feature of designer Carla Jenkins and her Made With Love brand. The pampas arrangements by Gemma behind Dried Designs really complimented the boho glam look, accessorised with a pearl headband and shoes by Loeffler Randall.

Gemma also created a stunning installation in the garden for their ceremony and then guests moved to the lawn for confetti before enjoying champagne and canapé in the courtyard garden. Flo and James wanted some epic group shots so we went for it with the smoke grenades as they walked and laughed down the long gravel drive.

And this pair knew how to party. By the end of the speeches, the whole room was stood on their chairs, singing to the family anthem. The band greeted guests to lead them to the undercroft while Flo slipped away to change into something perfect for the dance floor.

This was a day and night full of laughs, jokes and love for each other and everyone they celebrated with. Making wonderful memories to last a lifetime in the most perfect location.
