Glamour and fun at Rockbeare Manor wedding in Devon

Emily and Matt radiate warmth and kindness. And everything about their wedding day at Rockbeare Manor near Exeter in Devon, emanated calm with a white colour scheme complementing the neutral tones of the Manor’s decor and warm summer sunlights which poured into their ceremony and reception rooms.

The absolute showstopper was Emily’s Eva Lendel gown, from Champagne & Charlotte Bridal Boutique. A cold-shoulder mermaid silhouette dress featuring long funnel sleeves with lace-decorated loose cuffs and sophisticated beaded embroideries with floral motifs. Signature glam Hollywood hair and Make Up was created by Rhian Rosen (Hair) and Sophie White (MUA) whose immaculate work is immediately recognisable. Matt wore a classic black tuxedo and black bow-tie from Jonathan Hawkes. A timeless combination for any Groom in any season.

Super talented creative Beth of Room for Bloom provided the crips white decor, softening the spaces and also created Emily’s and the Bridesmaid’s beautiful bouquets. A mixture of white roses and baby’s breath, working with texture and form for a modern classic look. The tables were dressed elegantly with candles and white flower stems.

Always bringing the vibes, Dan Costin played saxophone during the drinks reception and evening to get the party started and guests willingly danced around the garden and dance floor to some epic floor fillers.

As always, my approach on the day was to always be close enough to give Emily and Matt all my support and guidance and to also know when to step away and give them space to just be in the moment. Surrounded by the people they love most, knowing the hours would be all too fleeting.
